Matthew vanKan is a modern-day crooner, honouring the timeless music of legends such as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett and other great entertainers of the past. He performs the big band swing songs that made Frank a household name, the jazz and blues-inspired titles that crowned Nathaniel Coles ‘King’, and the beautifully orchestrated arrangements of Bublé that have brought these songs back to today’s playlists.
Matthew performs in the UK and around the world at private parties, weddings, corporate events,
international hotel functions, and in a few exclusive venues open to the general public.
Matthew has also curated vanKan Artists, an exciting portfolio of talent
showcasing both undiscovered and established artists.

Matthew vanKan and his musicians have performed for her late majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Albert of Monaco, Peter Jones (BBC Dragons' Den) and members of The British, Serbian and Omani Royal Family.
Matthew has also entertained guests at private events supporting headline acts The Scissor Sisters, Ronan Keating, Pixie Lott, Matt Cardle and Simply Red’s Mick Hucknall.
The vanKan Band marked Frank Sinatra's Centenary Celebrations with shows in London, Spain, Qatar and Abu Dhabi and Matthew was a special guest of Deana Martin for shows in the USA celebrating the music of her father and Rat Pack member Dean Martin.
Unlike a tribute act vanKan emulates rather than impersonates as he honours the legends and hit songs of a golden age in music. His passionate and sophisticated reinterpretations of The Great American Songbook includes swinging classics, stunning ballads and all the well-known jazz standards - the hits of the Silver Screen and iconic entertainers such as Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett and many more.
